Message	a torque plate. We have used a torque plate on our motors since back in 1997 and never had any problems with piston noise. Course we run different tolerances in our designs then most people. But even with the Wiseco pistons we have never had any piston noise. I have also pulled apart a motor that we had done with Wiseco pistons back in 2002 and the piston walls are in great condition and the customer never had any piston noise. I guess it just all depends on the engine builder and how the tolerances are set up but I would hardly call the .008" taper a defect since we didn't have any problems with it.
